The Story
In the grasslands of Tibet, nomads called the Drokpa made clothes that weren't just warm — they were meaningful.
The technique was called Tigma. An ancient tie-and-fold dye method from the Himalayan region. The motif it creates is simple — a cross inside a circle on a dark ground. Put on robes, shawls, ceremonial blankets. Not as decoration. As a good luck symbol for people living in one of the most beautiful, unforgiving landscapes on earth.
That's the pattern inside the Thang Trouser.
The Craft
Wide-leg. Relaxed through the seat. Tapered just enough to feel intentional. The Tigma motif runs through the fabric as an all-over design — not a print, not a patch — so it doesn't fade, peel, or wash out.
Every pair is made to order, cut to your exact measurements. Because cultural fashion was never meant to be one-size-fits-all.
Wear It
Pair with a fitted top and boots for an everyday look. Layer under a Khoe Wonju for a full cultural fashion moment. The Tigma pattern does the talking either way.
A garment with a thousand years of story behind it. Wear it like it means something.
